GarageBand experimenting
Today i used garage band to experiment with different musics and sounds that i think would be suitable to apply to my film opening. I created ensembles of music to see what they would sound like and if they would match with my footage.
Today's editing
Today i have been going through my footage to see if there is any more parts of it that are not needed and can be cut completely. I have also looked at my storyboard to see the order of the shots and move around some of the footage so that it is in the right order.

Media Studies AS Film Opening Risk Assessment
Day 1:
Date- Wednesday 28th December 2011
Time- 6.00pm
I filmed mostly inside my house and then some filming was done outside the front of my house. I used one light inside when filming the first few shots and had to make sure that it was properly put up and secure before using it. I also made sure that it was plugged into its own separate plug socket rather than being plugged into and extension lead with other electrical equipment also plugged in. Then when filming outside i used the lights to light up the house. When doing this i made sure that any leads coming from the lights were placed in a safe place so that anyone that was passing couldn't trip over them. I also had to film shots of my house from over the road but to do so i had to stand the tripod in the middle of the opposite road. Every time i filmed i made sure that no cars were coming onto the road i was filming on and i also had my step-dad with me the whole time i was filming to check for any cars as well. But as i filmed later on in the evening the road i was filming on was very quiet so less cars were about. Then when filming the house again i made sure that my dog was not in any of the rooms i was filming in in case he got in the way of equipment or knocked anything over.

Digital Storyboard
I drew pictures of the shots i would like to create and then took digital pictures of these. I then uploaded them onto Final Cut Express.
