Introduction to Photoshop and learning how to use it

Today I was introduced to Photoshop and how to use it. I have had previous experience using photoshop but i had never learnt how to use it in the right way and how to work individual specific things. Firstly we went over all the different tools that can be used when creating a product on photoshop. For example the magic wand tool to remove backgrounds if you would just like only one part of a picture. We then also learnt about the different layers needed when creating your photoshop product. We did so by using the internet to find pictures of different things and creating different layers of backgrounds, pictures and also text. We used this as a practice so that when i come to make my digipak and advert i am then able to apply all of these tasks to these products.
