This is the front cover of my digipak. I decided to stay with the use of the blue and green colours because i felt they worked really well on the cover and stood out in a nice way, nothing too bright and loud. I did so by using the contrast effect which i moved the level so that it brought out the colours slightly more than they already were and also gave a sharpness to the picture. I also used the brightening effect whereby i raised this so that it gave the picture more light and vibrance certainly enhancing my artist's clothing. I then also used the colour balance effect where i raised the percentage of certain colours so that they became more of an evident and vibrant colour. I also used a bevel and emboss effect on the text which gave it a slightly urban look tieing in with the backgournd of the front cover. I also decided to use this effect as i feel it gives it a 3D look which will make my artists name stand out to buyers.
This is my back cover. I decided to use a picture in the same location so that i could keep in the theme of the urbanised wall and the blues and greens. I specifically wanted to use this picture of my artist as she looks as though she is in a very reflective mood which is exactly what i wanted to express especially with the titles of her songs which are right next to her. I also felt that my choice in song titles helped to reinforce the thought provoking, emotional look on her face. I did so by using titles such as our young hearts and let me in suggesting her emtions towars love and relationships. I also used the same effects as i did before on the front cover here on the back cover. I made sure that i brought our the colours in the background and in her short and denim jacket so that they stood out and became more eye catching. I again also used the bevel and emboss effect to enhance the lettering of the song titles and i also wanted to use a slightly purple/blue colour in the text to match with the front cover and to give the cover a variety of colours.
This is my CD tray cover. I was extremely influenced by the pictures in my research when planning for ideas for my digipak When taking the pictures i asked my artist to write a song in a notebook so that i could create an 'in the moment' look to the cover. I also asked my artist that it didnt matter if she made mistakes when writing the song as i wanted it to look as though she had taken time to think about the emtions she was trying to portray. I also wanted to tie in the autumnal colours this cover and my lyric book cover with the autumnal colours used in our music video. I did so by using effects such as contrast, brightness and saturation to enhance these colours.

Overall i am tremendosly happy with my digipak and how it has turned out. I am happy with all the colours i have chosen to use and i feel they reflect some of the themes in my music video very well. Especially for example the use of the blues and greens i feel represent the nature and outdoors in the music video. The yellows and oranges on the inside covers i feel represent the autumnal colours in our musiv video and the use of the guitar represents the acoustic sounds in the song and music video
